Between 10th and 21st of March 2026 a contingent of club cars departed Melbourne to attend “BEACH HOP” at Coffs Harbour. The trip included stopovers in Goulburn New South Wales (6 hours and 650 Kilometres) , Raymond Terrace, (4 hours, 350 Kilometres), Coffs Harbour, (3.5 Hours and 360 Kilometres), Coffs Harbour, Raymond Terrace, (3.5 Hours and 360 Kilometres), Katoomba, (3.5 hours, 250 Kilometres), Bathurst, (1.5 Hours and 110 Kilometres), Wagga Wagga, (3.5 Hours, 315 Kilometres) Melbourne (8.5 Hours, 779 Kilometres). The purpose of the trip was toput our cars on display on the Saturday at the City Square in the centre of Coffs Harbour and then also at the Coffs Harbour “Beach Hop” on the beachfront. The weather was fantastic (following heavy rain on the way up) with clear sunny skies and warm days while we were in Coffs Harbour. Katoomba proved a bit of a disappointment as the area was fogged in with no views out over the Blue Mountains, however we all enjoyed visits to the Scenic Railway and other tourist attractions in the area. Reaching Bathurst, everyone had a great time touring the Mount Panorama Racetrack and the Race Museum. from there the road lead South and a very pleasant last night was spent at the motel restaurant before we all headed off to make our various ways home..
